JOB DESCRIPTION:
Urban Leash is an innovative technology startup in the pet care industry. We provide an easy and convenient way for pet owners to order pet care service directly through their smartphones. Think of us as Uber for dog walking. Our vision is to provide convenience for our clients and amazing care for their pets. We are growing at a fast pace and are looking to add incredible individuals to our team.
 
We are looking for an awesome individual to manage the dog walking side of our operations. You must be great with people, love animals, be detail oriented and very organized.
 
LOCATION:
Our office is located in Gold Coast neighborhood of Chicago, IL. It’s close to public transportation, restaurants, fast food, and coffee shops.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your primary responsibility will be to manage backend operations. This involves hiring, training and managing dog walkers. You’ll also place new clients with available dog walkers and process new service requests. You will work with the rest of the Urban Leash team to streamline operations and create strategic plans for growth and expansion.
 
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Loves Pets.
  • At least 2 years management  or operational experience.
  • Dog walking or pet service industry experience highly prefered.
  • Self-managed, organized, detail oriented and good multitasker.
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills.
  • Flexibility and team player mindset.
